Oregon is one of the most beautiful places in America. Having lived there for a number of years, it has inspired numerous paintings from me. It continues to do so today even though I no longer live there. This seascape oil painting is of Heceta Head Lighthouse, built in 1894. It stands watch over the Oregon coast just north of the famous Sea Lion Caves.
