This is a painting of Mt. Kilimanjaro is a custom painting commissioned by an art collector in New Jersey. Located in Tanzania, Mt. Kilimanjaro is a is a dormant volcano and the highest mountain in Africa. It isn't certain where the name Kilimanjaro originates from and there are several theories. It is a popular attraction for hikers and mountain climbers.
Some estimate that more people have died to date trekking up Kilimanjaro than Mount Everest, however, it needs to be pointed out that Everest is attempted by significantly fewer climbers.
